Personal Makeup Workshop by ImageConnection is coming your way, details of the workshop are as follows:

Date: 4 December 2010 (Saturday)

Time: 11am - 4pm

Venue: B-01-11 Amadesa Resort Condominium, Desa Petaling, 57100 Kuala Lumpur.

This workshop includes demonstration and hands-on sessions so that you can see and apply the techniques straight away. I'll be there to support you in your practice to create your own beauty. We will together explore:

-Basic makeup tools

-Different types of makeup/application

-Day makeup

-Night makeup

What you need to bring:

-Makeup kit

-Brushes

-Face Mirror

Not too worry if you think you don't have enough makeup or brushes. Just bring whatever that you have and we will play! 

Investment:

Normal price: RM150/ pax. 

Buddy price: RM250/ pair.

About Our Lead Facilitator - VENA OSMAN

Makeup/ Special FX Artist – Beauty Therapist – Makeup/Beauty Trainer – Beauty Empowerment Coach

Vena Osman is an active film and fashion makeup artist and entrepreneur. She has been active in the makeup industry and working as a beauty consultant and therapist for over 9 years – expanding into creative directing, fashion, film and photography for the past 5 years and furthermore into special effects makeup for the past 4 years. This aspiring producer has been networking and actively working in the film and fashion industry in Australia, France, New Zealand, London, Norway, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Italy, Japan, Monaco, Korea and Switzerland.

Vena is the embodiment of a woman living her passion. Inspired at the early age of 6 by the magic that can be created with unlimited possibilities of the imagination, she dedicated her life's work to create platforms for people to recognize their inner beauty and sharing it with the world as a beauty empowerment coach. She's outrageous, vivacious and yet practical. I have an awesome news!!! Due to popular demand, Makeup Workshop with Ayangkamell is back!! It's a one whole day event packed with exciting learning and interacting with the master himself.. I've been to this workshop and it's so worth it.. It was my first time meeting with a celebrity makeup artist, but he's such a humble person that I found it easy to ask him questions.. On top of that, he is also so willing to share his knowledge with all the participants.. It's a small class, therefore you will be able to have personal interaction with ayang.. b-b-b-b-b-belly painting!!

Not too long ago... I did this belly painting on my sister's huge belly - that was back then.. She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl last month :) I miss her so much!!! One thing I can't forget is that, as I was painting, there was this one moment when the baby pushed my brush.. Can you imagine the paint brush? She managed to push it at the exact spot as I was painting.. Probably I disturbed her slumber or something..

In case you didn't recognize the characters, I drew the inspirations from the stars of Pocoyo TV Series :D :D

Adrin: Engagement

I have a lot of pictures from a number of jobs overdue.. but lately, I seemed to always forget to take pictures after I was done with the makeup! So I'm relying on the pictures from the photographers of the event, instead. Silver lining: I get beautiful pictures, since the cameras are so much nicer than my point-and-shoot ;)

I've known Adrin from my ex-colleague for years now, and I always have such joy whenever I do her makeup.. Not only she has a beautiful face ;) - I also love her for her sincerity and kindness to everyone around her.  I'm so happy she's gotten engaged now. Congratulations Adrin!

Makeup Workshop featuring Ayangkamell

In conjunction with Mazuien Makeup Artistry, we are holding a special makeup workshop with the one and only Ayangkamell, celebrity makeup artist in Malaysia.  Details of workshop as follows:

Date: 17 April 2010
Time: 9 am - 6 pm
Venue: Desa Petaling, Kuala Lumpur (instructions will be given to confirmed participants)
Fee: RM300 for registration, refreshments and course materials

This is your chance to learn the tools and techniques used to Ayangkamell's signature look, the smokey-eye look.  Ayangkamell will also be demonstrating how to create a romantic up-do hair style for brides.

We are going to have a small class to allow more personal interaction between instructor and participants -  hence, very limited seats available! The seats are filling in fast, so call and book yours now :)

KL ThemeAsia Dance Fair

Last Saturday I was invited by SalsaJay, to join their booth for the KL ThemeAsia Dance Fair 2010, happening at the KL Dance Association, Jalan Hang Jebat, Kuala Lumpur.  I was thinking of what I could do at a crowded place in limited amount of time.  Makeover was completely out of question, as I need more time, depending on each customer needs, so I decided to do some hand/face painting, as it's easy and quick to do. Here's a sneak preview of the pictures from the fair. We even had time to spare for some dance workshops and a lot of awesome performances!
